According to the Main Directorate of the Kuzbass Ministry of Internal Affairs, on Monday, August 21, a 41-year-old Siberian woman, after a family quarrel, got behind the wheel of a Toyota Ipsum that belonged to her husband. The man began to block the way and stopped in front of the car. The woman started to move and the owner of the car was on the hood. So she drove to the intersection of 50 Years of Komsomol Avenue and Cosmonauts Street. At a red light, a woman crashed into the trunk of a Mazda in front of her.
The man received injuries of varying severity and was taken to the hospital, the driver – to the police department. A medical examination showed that she was sober at the time of the accident. Police officers are establishing all the circumstances of the incident, said the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Police investigate an accident that left a man injured
The traffic accident occurred on August 21 at around 20:00 at the intersection of 50 Let Komsomol Avenue and Kosmonavtov Street in Mezhdurechensk. Teams of the state traffic inspection and the investigative task force of the Russian Interior Ministry for the city of Mezhdurechensk immediately arrived at the scene.
It was previously established that the 41-year-old Toyota Ipsum driver collided with a Mazda 6, which was stopped at a crossroads at a prohibited traffic light.
As a result of an accident with injuries of varying severity, a 38-year-old man was taken to the hospital, who was on the hood of a Toyota at the time of the accident.
The driver of the Toyota is currently at the police station. Based on the results of the medical examination, it was established that she was sober at the time of the accident.
The police also found out that the driver and the victim of the accident are spouses, between whom shortly before the accident there was a domestic conflict. During the fight, the man began to block the way, leaned on the hood of the car, which he owns, and the driver began to move.
Police are currently establishing all the circumstances of the incident. An audit is underway, the results of which will give a legal assessment of the actions of the Toyota driver and a decision will be made in accordance with the law.
