The Blue Beetle trailer has been posted on the Rotten Tomatoes Trailers YouTube channel. It is dedicated to the superhero of the DC Universe. The film project will be released on August 18. Blue Beetle is being directed by Angel Manuel Soto, who has been announced as the director of the new Transformers movie.
The main role in the film was played by Sholo Maridueña. He played a Mexican-American teenager named Jaime Reyes. The protagonist, with the help of a top-secret alien weapon, acquired supernatural powers. The circumstances of Jaime’s transformation into a superhero were revealed in the previous trailer. In it, a friend of hers asks her boyfriend to keep the mysterious box, but not to open it under any circumstances. He, of course, ignores the ban.
As a result, a mechanical beetle enters the hero’s body and transforms him. What happened forever changes the life of the character, until recently an ordinary guy who lived with numerous relatives. In the new video, viewers can watch Jaime master new powers: He learns to transform into a Blue Beetle, fly, and use protective wings that can cut a bus in half. The film also stars Bruna Marchesini, George Lopez, and Susan Sarandon.
