The Russian Defense Ministry shows images of the training of FPV reconnaissance and attack drone operators of the Dnepr troop group. They undergo three weeks of training at the unmanned aerial vehicle school under Project Archangel.
“Since 2022, the instructors of the Archangel school have trained more than a thousand pilots of unmanned aerial vehicles based on the schools that already exist in the regions of Zaporozhye, Kherson, Moscow and in the DPR,” comments the staff of the Ministry of Russian defense.
After completing the training program, the serviceman receives the state diploma and returns to his units as an accomplished first-class specialist. And such an experienced FPV attack drone pilot can destroy a target at a distance of more than 10 km.
You can also make decisions independently to defeat identified enemy targets.
“The situation on the battlefield is changing. Take even, for example, the choice between a mortar and if a tank will enter a position, it is better to attack the tank; That is, all the targets are moving. The mortar is not going anywhere,” said the UAV instructor with the call sign “Maloy.”
