According to preliminary data, Golovkov went rafting down the Angara with a friend. They planned to go along the river to Lake Baikal. The actor was in a kayak, his friend was in an inflatable boat.
While rafting, the friends got into a storm and lost sight of each other. The artist’s partner was able to call the Ministry of Emergency Situations, he was rescued, but Evgeny Golovkov could not be found immediately. Searches were carried out until July 10, the artist’s relatives and colleagues to the last hoped for a happy result, but last weekend Yevgeny Golovkovkov was found dead. The actor’s funeral will take place on July 14 in Ustye-Ilimsk.
Evgeny Golovkov was one of the leading actors of the local theater, he took part in almost all iconic productions. He also created sets and taught classes for correctional school students.
