Adif and Adif Alta Velocidad (Adif AV) have reported in a statement that they will show 1,451 public employment positions this 2023. This offer will be aimed at professionals with 48 different profiles and the registration period will be open between July 10 and 28.
These personnel renewals are carried out within the framework of the company’s strategic generational renewal plan and are mostly for operational personnel positions. In addition to the 78% of positions allocated to operational personnel, profiles in the technical, legal, financial, administrative or security fields are included, among others.
The initiative is part of the joint ‘Multi-year Employment Plan’ of the two companies, under which they plan to incorporate more than 6,000 new workers between 2021 and 2025, that is, a renewal of half of their workforce. Since this plan was launched, more than 5,000 places have already been offered.
The rejuvenation of the workforce as an objective
The deadline for submitting applications begins on Monday, July 10, and will last until July 28, while the bases will be available on the Adif and Adif AV websites. Likewise, it has been highlighted that new recruits will receive more than 500,000 hours of training.
The president of Adif and Adif AV, María Luisa Domínguez, has indicated that the attraction of talent constitutes “one of the pillars” of the 2030 Strategic Plan, not only to contribute to the recovery of the country, but also to promote a more competitive economy, around the green and digital principles, promoted by the European funds ‘NextGeneration EU’.
For his part, Adif’s General Director of People Management, Michaux Miranda, has assured that “a challenge that goes beyond numbers” is currently being addressed, such as large-scale generational and cultural change, with which it seeks “the transfer of critical knowledge, taking advantage of the abilities and skills of new diverse professional profiles, incorporating more talent and transforming the way of approaching work”.
