The film will open up the world of 12-year-old Anya, who spends the summer with her mother in the country. Everything is as always: heat, flies, boredom. But now, after having an argument with her mother, the girl discovers a mysterious stranger in her secret refuge. A stranger who settled in an abandoned house next door will open up for Anya a fantastic world that was hiding somewhere nearby, you just need to be able to see it. A friendship has emerged, but not everyone is ready to understand this strange friendship between a girl and a grown man, who obviously has something to hide…
The main role is played by 13-year-old Sandra Vostretsova, who was initially planned to play the role of the girlfriend of the main character Amaranta. This is what she thinks of her character:
– Anya is modest, restrained, sensitive, dreamy. We have common characteristics. I am also kind, vulnerable, always ready to help. Like Anya, I love to dream. But unlike my heroine, I can hold my own, I don’t tend to experience everything inside myself, I’m a more emotional person.
The main male role was played by Alexander Galibin. He says:
– At the heart of “Russula” is a film story by Xenia Dragunskaya. I immediately fell in love with this story. An image about children, adolescents and their lives seems very important to me; After all, our future is here.
Leading actress Sandra Vostretsova says that Alexander Galibin is a dream director and she wants every young actor to work with him on the same stage at least once in their life.

With the support of the group, even the hardest tricks were fun and easy. For example, I had to climb a tall, old and withered tree, while playing happiness, joy, surprise and not forgetting words. The general producer of the film is Fedor Popov, who has repeatedly produced youth-themed films (“KET” and “Bull” by Boris Akopov, “Liver” by Ivan Snezhkin, “Rock” by Ivan Shakhnazarov, “The Adventures of Little Baja by Alejandro Galibin).

– This is a figurative, author’s, poetic and, let me say, philosophical story about adolescents. I think it will be a film with a special vision of children’s and youth cinema. These paintings, in my opinion, are now more in demand than ever, because by educating the younger generation and shaping their fine artistic taste, they point to the future.
The film is shot by the Stella film company with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
