Good news at a solemn meeting dedicated to Republic Day, said the head of Yakutia Aisen Nikolaev. He stressed that the awarding of a high degree to the commander of the Yakut volunteer detachment “Botur” is recognition of the contribution of the entire republic to the victory in a special military operation. Alexander Kolesov was the first of the Yakut volunteers to receive this highest award.
“We are all Russians, a multinational people, and together we are a powerful force capable of resisting any threat and invasion,” Aisen Nikolaev said.
The commander of the “Botur-1” detachment, which is part of the “Bars-2” volunteer battalion, showed courage and heroism in battle, saved the lives of 50 comrades.
The first Yakut volunteer detachment “Botur-1” was formed on July 27, 2022 on behalf of Aisen Nikolaev. During the special operation in Yakutia, five volunteer detachments were formed.
The republic keeps in touch with its fighters and regularly sends humanitarian supplies, equipment, and additional equipment to the combat zone.
