Ray Chan was born on December 1, 1967 in Greater Manchester to immigrant parents from Hong Kong. He graduated in graphic design from Liverpool School of Art and then from the Film and Television Department at Kingston College of Art.
In the film business, from the first half of the 1990s he worked, in particular, on Softley’s “Hackers”, a cult cyberthriller with Jolie and Lee Miller.
The list includes “Road to Hell” (18+), “Alien vs. Predator”, “Robin Hood” (18+) by Ridley Scott – with Crowe, the second “Thor”, the first “Guardians of the Galaxy”, three parts of “The Avengers”, “Doctor Strange” (18+) and others.
