The incident occurred on August 26 at the 91 kilometer of the Kharpichian-Albazino highway. This was reported by the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Khabarovsk Territory.
“According to preliminary data, the driver of the KamAZ vehicle, which was traveling from Albazino towards the Kharpichian village, lost control and let the vehicle go off the road, after which it overturned,” the department reported.
As a result of the accident, the driver born in 1978 and four passengers born in 1968, 1978, 1989, 1992, employees of a district company, died on the spot before the ambulance arrived.
All the circumstances of the incident are established. An investigation team works at the crash site.
It was previously reported that the accident occurred in the Neryungri district of Yakutia, on the closed Ulak-Elga industrial highway. As a result, the driver died at the scene. Eight passengers who were on the bus at the time of the accident suffered injuries of varying severity.
