Anatoly, with a victory in the tank tournament, it is a pity that it did not work out in the physical super final. How do you rate the final tank match? Based on the score, it all seems like a one-sided conclusion. Are?
Anatoly Barakov: It turned out like that, yes. I think this result was achieved thanks to the semi-final, where we were able to turn the match from 2 to 4. After that, the team started to play differently and had full confidence in itself.
Which match in the tournament was the most difficult and which opponent was the most unpleasant?
Anatoly Barakov: The most difficult match was the semi-finals. There we were able to change the match in our favor, losing 2:4 and we were on the verge of being eliminated from the tournament. The most unpleasant opponent was in the final, but we were able to show our class and defeat the enemy, avenging our defeat in the last World of Tanks tournament.
What didn’t work in the super final? Will you participate in phygital tournaments in the future?
Anatoly Barakov: In the super final there was not enough physical preparation or time to rest from the final. And of course, if there are similar tournaments in the future, we will definitely participate.
Teams from Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan participated in the tank tournament. Do you see potential for geographic expansion? And if so, at the expense of which countries?
Anatoly Barakov: “World of Tanks” is a popular game among players around the world. But the strongest teams are in our regions. Therefore, it is difficult to answer this question, but I can say one thing: it would be interesting to compete with teams from China.
