Bad weather hits Dubai for the third day in a row. Heavy rain and stormy winds hit the city. Air traffic with the Emirates is practically closed. Tourists are canceling trips for fear of becoming hostage to the elements. But the natural disasters did not scare Anfisa Chekhova, who had planned to travel for work. The TV presenter flew to Dubai at her expense and risk and she ended up stranded in the flooded city with no money.

Problems began in Moscow: Anfisa’s flight to Dubac was postponed several times, she returned home, and then waited in Sheremetyevo. She finally managed to fly to the Emirates. At the Dubai airport she managed with great difficulty to find a taxi.

“They say there is a five-hour queue for a taxi. I’ll try to call, of course, but it’s not clear… The hotel refused to facilitate the transfer. “He said the services are not working because of the hurricane,” Chekhova complained on social media.

When the car was finally found, the TV presenter spent more than an hour driving it through a flooded road. Upon arriving at the hotel, Anfisa decided to pay the driver with her new card. Since Russian cards no longer work abroad, Chekhova issued a plastic card in Tajikistan. But because of all the misadventures, I got nervous and forgot my PIN code. As a result, the card was blocked.

“With my inability to remember numbers, I always end up in stupid stories. I entered the wrong PIN code on my Tajik card three times, it was blocked and I couldn’t even pay for a taxi. Thanks to my friend for helping me, we went to her house, took the money, otherwise the taxi driver wanted to collect my suitcases. I have the same PIN codes everywhere, but in Tajikistan there was a different one and I don’t know how to reset it,” the star complained.

Anfisa tried unsuccessfully to contact the bank, but they did not respond to her in the chat. The TV presenter complained that she was sitting in a hotel and she didn’t know what to do.

“As long as I can’t unlock the card, the Tajik bank is not in a big hurry to help me. She was left without money. “I don’t even know what else to say,” the star shared.

Record rains began in the United Arab Emirates on the afternoon of April 16 and continued for almost a day, until the afternoon of the 17th. Streets in Dubai were flooded and strong winds uprooted palm trees and tossed furniture in outdoor cafes. Cars were stuck in traffic jams under a wall of rain, trying to navigate through water that was knee-deep in some places. The city’s subway stations were flooded and taxi services were not working.
