Lime showed a new Basic fall collection. Retro meets futurism in it, deconstruction and sophisticated cut meet naive prints. The campaign was shot in the urban Beaugrenel district of Paris, where ultra-modern glass and concrete buildings coexist with 1970s architecture, maintaining the collection’s experimental spirit.
The collection’s highlights are beige wide-leg pants and a short-sleeved turtleneck shirt, which are hallmarks of 1970s style. This era is reminiscent of a striped long-sleeved jersey polo shirt. and a navy jean ensemble: a shirt with a genuine leather patch pocket and cuffed jeans.
Another set of 1990s style references is a dark gray velor cropped shirt and cut-out midi skirt, as well as anime prints and a tracksuit. The style is based on contrasts, so a navy blue tracksuit is combined with strict loafers, joggers – with a shirt with a turn-down collar and a patch pocket. The campaign heroine wears a black pleated miniskirt with a loose white shirt and asymmetrical oversized jean jacket, keeping the look casual and a bit rebellious.
The natural and calm colors of the collection – beige, brown, dark blue, dark gray, black – are complemented by bright and complex prints. A knitted cardigan with a camouflage print in yellow-orange-blue tones will become an accent in your everyday wardrobe. Another memorable novelty is a dress with voluminous sleeves and a balloon skirt.
Earlier, Lime showed off a new drop from the summer collection. The colors are light yellow, lilac, brown, light olive and white. We talk about it in more detail here.
