Con artist Anna Delvey, who inspired Shonda Rhimes to create the Inventing Anna series, has released her debut song “What the Hell.” The song features TikTok country star Brooke Butler. The composition includes previously unseen audio recordings of Delvey, including a recording of a telephone conversation from a prison on Rikers Island.
The song was written by Audio Up CEO and producer Jared Gutstadt, known for his work with Lil Wayne, Jelly Roll, DJ Khaled and Machine Gun Kelly, and his writing partner Scarlett Burke.
“It’s a fun song and I know a lot of people would love to hear that side of Anna. I hope the TikTok world enjoys it too,” she said.
Delvi is currently under house arrest after being convicted of various crimes, including attempted grand theft. The song became the opening theme song for her podcast The Anna Delvey Show.
Previously, Anna Delvey was invited to give a lecture to Harvard students. She spoke with sophomores from the Borderline School of Business. Read more here.
