Anti-aircraft gunners collected a collection of downed UAV drones

In the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, on the territory of one of the anti-aircraft missile units of the Dnepr group of troops, a whole collection of downed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been formed. In the classroom, where 200 exhibits can be seen, training sessions with military anti-aircraft gunners are held.

“After the creation of an exhibition where several trophies of unmanned vehicles were presented, the leadership of the military unit decided to hold introductory and practical classes on air defense missile systems here to study models of enemy UAVs, their capabilities and how to combat them most effectively,” said Russian Defense Ministry personnel.

The collection contains not only fragments of drones of various types with a description of their tactical and technical characteristics, but also some of the weapons they are equipped with, neutralized as a result of the daily intense combat work of our anti-aircraft gunners.

“In addition to the scheduled training with anti-aircraft gunners, the command of the unit plans to regularly invite young people: members of the Youth Army, students, schoolchildren and all those interested,” said the commander of the radar reconnaissance and control platoon with the call sign “Elbrus.”
