Airtificial shares rose 2.31% on the stock market, reaching 0.142 euros per share, the rise softened after opening with a rise of 5.7%, reaching 0.1468 euros per share. The increase comes after the signing of a new agreement of about 4.8 million euros with the Turkish public company Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) was made public. As Airtificial has communicated in a note, the new contract, based on a previous one, expands the technological, electronic and mechanical capabilities of high-tech flight control ‘sticks’ for the Hürjet, a type of trainer and combat aircraft . Light intended for pilot training.
The Spanish firm has indicated that, with this award, its defense and mobility unit, Airtificial Aerospace & Defense, “confirms its position as a reference developer and supplier for the defense sector with flight control systems of high technological complexity”, as reported by the Europa Press agency.
This new contract includes two phases to develop and manufacture two airable versions of the sticks. The first, valued at about 1.3 million euros, extends the scope of the original 2020 project to include greater technological and mechanical capabilities in these new sticks for a passive version of these.

As in the initial agreement, the design and manufacturing of the flight control sticks for TAI will be carried out at the Airtificial Aerospace & Defense facilities in Seville.
The CEO of Airtificial, Guillermo Fernández de Peñaranda, has stressed that the extension of the initial agreement with TAI demonstrates “Airtificial’s capabilities to successfully provide its clients with designs tailored to their needs.” “This is especially important in the defense sector, where industrial and technological demands are especially high,” he added.
