The implementation of this measure will allow Moscow motorists to return a large number of extremely scarce parking spaces and will provide additional income to the Moscow budget from the use of these parking spaces, Shaparin believes.
As the State Traffic Inspectorate explains, the road can be owned by regional, municipal or, for example, municipal authorities. As for foreign missions, they can own part of the territory, but not a section of the road.
This measure will allow motorists to return a large number of scarce parking spaces.
Evgeniy Shestakov, specialist in international legal practice, commented on the initiative of the Automobile Union. According to him, if these parking lots are eliminated in Russia, a similar reaction will surely occur: Russian representations in other countries will also lose their parking spaces.
Automobile expert Igor Morzharetto also reacted negatively to the idea of the United States. In his opinion, the implementation of such an initiative will cause confusion. It is not known which country will be friendly or hostile tomorrow, Morzharetto noted.
