“This year, for the first time, admission to targeted training was organised through the Russia Work platform. To date, more than 113 thousand employers have registered their proposals for training specialists with higher education,” he said.
For specific training, the applicant concludes an agreement with the employer even before entering an educational institution. Thanks to this, he can study for free, but after that he is obliged to look for a job with the employer with whom he has a contract.
Golikova recalled that the admissions campaign is in full swing across the country. This year, more than 635 thousand eleventh graders graduated from school and at least half of them are planning to enter university. In 2024, higher education institutions are ready to accept more than 621 thousand applicants, of which more than 145 thousand places are planned for specific training.
