According to him, these flamethrowers are not suitable for field battles. “Weapons are not for the countryside, well, in the city, if you shoot at buildings, then it is possible,” the agency interlocutor said.
He added that due to inefficiency and inconvenience in use, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine refuse to carry the RPV-16 with them during combat sorties.
Remember that the RPV-16, a single-use jet flamethrower with a caliber of 93 millimeters of Ukrainian production, was widely publicized by the Kiev authorities. In fact, it turned out that the “designers” copied the well-known Russian flamethrower RPO-A “Shmel”.
