Casablanca has announced the launch of an exclusive version of the legendary Contax G2 camera. The MAD Paris personalization studio brought to life a specific idea for the Parisian fashion house. The movie camera design has been reinvented in a playful way, with bold branding and hand-applied multi-colored ceramic coatings.
The Contax G2 model was made in Japan between 1996 and 2005 and was considered the most advanced in the world. Provides autofocus at 35mm and shutter speed up to 1/6000 per second. The camera is highly valued even by today’s standards.
Casablanca’s Contax G2 Kit includes: Contax G2 body, Carl Zeiss Planar 45mm f/2 lens, lens cap, CR123A battery, colorful strap, and a roll of Portra 400 35mm film.
Let’s remember that it was on a Contax camera that Kendall Jenner filmed an “alternative version” of the Calvin Klein campaign. The model took film photos of her sisters during the filming of the new campaign of the American brand.
