Speaking at a plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), Putin suggested that Anatoly Chubais could “flee” Russia due to the large financial hole in Rusnano. The president also said that he does not know the reasons why the former senior manager of the state corporation left the country.
“I wouldn’t like to comment on anything that was said,” Chubais told the agency’s correspondent.
Anatoly Chubais was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rusnano JSC in 2011-2020. Subsequently, he moved to the position of special representative of the President of the Russian Federation, which he left in March 2022, after which he left Russia.
