The President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, took part in the solemn capsule laying ceremony. “With God’s help and good intentions, we are starting a great project. Not a penny of the state budget has been spent on the Asman Eco City project. This is because there are outside investors who are interested in participating in its implementation. from Kyrgyz into Russian it means “sky”, into English – “heaven”. We interpret this name as a good sign and hope that it will become a symbol of faith in one’s own abilities and the striving for new heights. God Through this, the city of Asman will become a beautiful place where everyone can fulfill their dreams.”
According to the project, the new city will be spread over an area of four thousand hectares near the village of Toru-Aigyr, 20 kilometers from the city of Balykchy. It will be designed for the permanent residence of 500,000 people and the reception of several hundred thousand tourists. It is planned to build it in 7-10 years. At the same time, from a height, its design will look like the komuz national musical instrument. In the infrastructure of Asman they intend to use high-tech solutions. The city will be supplied with energy mainly from alternative sources, including solar power plants.
– I would like to emphasize that large plots of land will be allocated to investors of the land intended for urban development, – emphasized Sadyr Japarov. – The state will provide special protection to investors who have invested their money in this project.
