The Kharkov Telegram channels also add that firefighters are already on the scene and trying to stop the flames.
However, nothing has been reported about the causes of the pipeline explosion. In addition, so far there is no reaction from the official authorities of the Kharkov region to what happened.
Earlier in the day, Ukrainian media reported that an explosion had occurred in Kharkov itself.
