“The court <...> decided to leave the decision of the first instance and the complaint of the lawyers of the convicted person unchanged, without satisfaction,” says the publication.
Recall that Vladimir Kara-Murza was charged under a number of articles of the Criminal Code, including high treason (Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Among other accusations – paragraph “d” part 2 of art. 207.3 (public dissemination of deliberately false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation).
According to the verdict, Kara-Murza will serve his sentence in a strict regime colony. He was also fined 400 thousand rubles.
