The new CEO of Indra, José Vicente de los Mozos, takes control of the management committee of the semi-public company. He approves a new steering committee in which he dispenses with the two directors of Defense and Transportation, two relevant areas for the future. In the first he is placed in front along with Borja Ochoa, who will be ‘number 2’. He keeps Luis Abril in charge of Minsait.
The company’s board of directors took place on June 30, the day the general shareholders’ meeting was held in which De los Mozos was ratified as the new CEO, a new organizational structure. As reflected in the relevant fact made public this Monday by the company, it is built around four main business areas: defense and security, technology (Minsait), air traffic management (ATM) and mobility. The new structure incorporates three new transversal responsibilities: head of technology, operations and human resources.
One of the most relevant measures is the one that has to do with the Defense area. In charge of this was Manuel Escalante, who had almost a decade of experience in the company he joined in cybersecurity. Despite his presence on the committee, the reality is that the former CEO of the entire group, Ignacio Mataix, had great ancestry. Now, De los Mozos takes complete control in this area. He will be helped as a deputy by Borja Ochoa, who until now was the head of Markets and Verticals at Minsait.
