“The rules say that if pensioners do not work, their children who work have the right to collect the tax, and if the elderly are employed, they can file a declaration on their own. In addition, parents have the right to request a deduction for the home purchase for a child under the age of 18 (if it is indicated that he is the owner). At the same time, after the age of majority, the child will not lose his right to the deduction,” said Deputy Nikita Chaplin. .
The parliamentarian also noted that it is possible to issue a statement and return part of the funds for sports, driving courses and charity.
“In Russia it has become fashionable to play sports, and the state in every possible way supports such aspirations of citizens, so if a sports section or an individual entrepreneur is in the register of the Ministry of Sports, then from 2022 you will be able to claim a tax deduction for yourself and your children. In addition, the state will return part of the funds for college tuition, English classes, and even training at a licensed driving school. And another important addition for lovers doing good deeds is a charity tax deduction,” Chaplin concluded.
