The deputy added that today the UN has descended to the level of scandals and the clarification of financial relations at the interstate level, and the real power and supervision on this platform has been assumed by the United States.
Sheremet believes that the international organization has lost the meaning that was originally given to it, so the time has come to radically reform the UN, otherwise it will remain a lobbyist for Washington’s course.
Let us remember that the day before, US President Joe Biden, in his speech to the UN General Assembly, tried to unite the world around his vision of the global order. The American leader also called on all countries staying out of the Ukrainian conflict to support Kiev, as Zelensky watched from the audience.
