The other day a small scandal broke out – it turned out that Dima Bilan received a fee of 5.4 million rubles for his performance at the International Children’s Cultural Forum. Everything would be fine, but only the children who participated in the forum contests received a total of only 3 million prize money. That is, much less than Dima for a small concert (she performed 13 songs).
Bilan and the organizers were showered with accusations: how is it possible? The children tried, prepared for competitions, suffered, one might say, fought to take money from them, and this one came, sang habitually and in an hour earned money for a one-room apartment …
But Dima found defenders. Firstly, 4-5 million is his usual performance commission, and the payment was made on a strictly official basis, he did not receive the money in any envelope.
Second, they recalled that at events like City Days (even in small towns with a modest budget), famous singers occasionally perform and charge several million dollars. “This is your job and your bet! People need a vacation! – the singer’s fans raged on social networks.
Bilan now made an official comment on his social media.
– Dear journalists, I would like to ask you not to invent or publish stories that do not concern me and that contain false information. Due to the fact that the artist, whose performance was initially scheduled, did not have time to return from the trip, the organizers urgently needed to replace the artist.
