The artist left at the age of 77 in the Bulgarian capital. The reason is not named.
Gerasimov was born on June 18, 1947 in Razlog. In 1970 he graduated from the National Academy of Motion Picture and Theater Arts.
On the stage he abundantly performed Russian and Soviet classics: Shakespeare, in the rock opera “Jesus Christ Superstar”. He actively toured the socialist countries, came to the USSR. Filmed in the GDR – in the DEFA studio.
Gerasimov’s films were also well known to our viewers; In particular, he played Victor Khara in the Bulgarian-French drama with Trintignant “It’s raining in Santiago”. Among the roles are “Arthur Becker”, the spy series “The secret of the Andes”, “The case of the investigator”, “Dalí”, “Vampires, ghosts”, among others.
