According to the local news portal Ngs, the presentation was scheduled for March 5. But some residents of the city demanded that the authorities cancel the concert. The occasion was the dance on the cross during the performance of the song “Mary Magdalena”.
According to Kiyashko, Kirkorov is a believer who regularly visits churches. “Exactly what these people do is impiety. They throw mud at a person, without understanding what art is. And they don’t want to see the essence,” added the concert director.
He recalled that Kirkorov publicly apologized for the dance on the cross, and also removed this number from his concert program.
“They throw stones like saints. People simply have nothing to do!”, – summed up the representative of Kirkorov.
