Primark does it again and puts on sale t-shirts from two euros, caps from one or swimsuits from three euros. These are the discounts with which, for yet another summer, with inflation in Spain at 3.2% and the price of the shopping basket being one of the main concerns of Spaniards, the clothing store announces new discounts to dress the most small of the house with incredible prices. “Summer is a time of many expenses and we look for more affordable prices without compromising quality,” says Carlos Inácio, general director of the Irish company in Spain and Portugal.
This decision is based on the measure that Primark implemented last year to reduce the prices of more than a thousand children’s fashion items to coincide with the back-to-school shopping period. The new lower prices on essentials include everyday summer children’s clothing, such as t-shirts and shorts, swimsuits, flip-flops and caps, perfect for rising temperatures and vacations.
Thus, a set consisting of a basic t-shirt and a swimsuit, as well as flip-flops and a cap can be purchased for 10.50 euros, compared to the 14.50 euros it cost last year. The change also extends to baby clothes: a set consisting of a t-shirt and shorts now costs only 5.60 euros, compared to 8.00 euros 12 months ago.
