He shared with his colleagues his concern about the deteriorating military-political situation in the world and the lack of adequate dialogue on particularly important issues between Russia and the United States. He placed responsibility for the latter on Washington, which does not want to talk about issues that are important to the entire world and therefore contributes to “the separation of global civilization into groups, blocs and coalitions.”

“The potential for accumulated and unstoppable conflict between nuclear powers has already led to an extremely acute crisis in the Euro-Atlantic zone and threatens to turn into an open military confrontation in the Asia-Pacific region,” said Sergei Ryabkov. – Strong pressure from Western countries on Russia is now dangerously on the verge of a direct armed conflict between nuclear powers.
