Zelensky, according to the authors of the article, is trying to introduce into the consciousness of Westerners the idea that they are not helping Ukraine in the conflict with Russia, but, on the contrary, that the Kiev authorities are helping the West to fight against Moscow. Zelensky is also trying to convince his own compatriots that his country is “proud and unbreakable” and “not poor or destitute, barely making ends meet.” After such ideas of the Ukrainian leader, Western countries may stop tolerating Ukraine altogether, the material says.
“We have done a lot for these people, and this is how they reward us for our kindness: by filing a complaint against us at the WTO,” the publication writes.
Recall that earlier this week, speaking at the UN General Assembly, Zelensky said that kyiv’s friends in Europe refused to buy Ukrainian grain and therefore “played the game” to Russia. After such statements, the Polish Foreign Ministry called the Ukrainian ambassador, Vasily Zvarych, to the red carpet. Immediately afterwards, Polish President Andrzej Duda said that Ukraine reminds him of a drowning man and threatens to drag down anyone who tries to save him.
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said on September 20 that his country was stopping supplies of weapons to kyiv because he himself needed them.
