According to her, the event occurred on Sunday morning in the state of Carabobo. The bus was heading from the Portuguesa state towards the beach. The driver of the vehicle lost control and went off the road into the abyss. As a result of the accident, five passengers died. Another 31 people were injured of varying severity. They were taken to nearby hospitals.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident. Law enforcement has not yet been able to identify a possible cause of the incident.
