Elephant in the Louvre, an online youth art marketplace, now sells 15 artists, including nine new artists. Some of the works for the market were chosen by the founders of Elefante at the Louvre together with the team from the Anna Nova Gallery.
Among the new artists is Olga Makhno, a resident of the Montemero Spanish Art Residence, a regular participant in group and individual exhibitions in Russia and abroad.
Also among the new young artists on the market is Mara Pilyasinskaya, a resident of the 9th season of “Open Studios” Winzavod. Her work has appeared in exhibitions at the Eulengasse Gallery in Germany, Anvil Gallery, U Contemporary, Octave Cluster, and was displayed in the windows of Hugo Boss and Ikea. Also, the artist illustrated the poetry collection of Ksenia Chilingarova.
“We really appreciate that our Elephant in the Louvre art platform has already helped young artists find their collectors. Today, with inspiration and joy, we announce the appearance of works by new authors,” said Irina Glazkova, co-founder of the Elephant art platform at the Louvre.
“The Anna Nova Gallery team was delighted to be part of the artist selection for the Elephant at the Louvre online marketplace. As a result of a lively discussion, the works of Ilya Atom, Dasha Klementieva, Maria Ermolenko, Mary Pilyasinskaya and Olga Makhno were selected. The advantage was given to those works in which one could feel the freshness of the gaze, the desire for novelty and a coherent statement”, shared the founder of the Anna Nova Gallery, Anna Barinova.
Prices for the work of artists on the online market are kept in the range of 10-100 thousand rubles.
