“This is the largest reservist training camp in Estonian history, in which almost 10,000 reservists will take part,” RIA Novosti quoted the department as saying. It should be noted that the exercises will be carried out in stages from August 28 to October 8 in four territorial defense regions.
The reservists will be trained by experienced instructors from the 1st Infantry Brigade of the Defense Forces, the Defense Academy, the Special Operations Command and the Territorial Defense Districts of the Defense Forces.
It should be noted that the Ussisõnad exercises will help check the readiness of Estonian reservists to act in the event of a mobilization announcement.
