Date: July 27, 2024 Time: 05:39:03

The French brand Études, founded by José Lamaly, Jeremy Egri and Aurélien Arbe, is expanding into the Chinese market. The brand recently opened a store in Shenzhen and plans to open another boutique in Beijing in late summer. WWD writes about it.

Designed by Parisian studio Hugo Haas, the Shenzhen store features all of the brand’s flagship items, as well as exclusive collaborations and photo books. The interior uses steel bars, concrete, aluminum and blue tinted glass. It is this color that is considered marked by the brand.

Études first entered the Chinese market in 2017 and now accounts for 20% of total revenue, according to the company. After launching a boutique in Beijing, the brand plans to open outlets in other cities in China. In the autumn, the team will meet with local partners to learn more about the latest developments in the Asian market.

Let’s remember that previously another brand, Hermès, talked about expanding into the Asian market. The French fashion house has opened its 28th boutique in China.
