“The 2023 BRICS summit is expected to be a turning point in the economic development of many African countries. For some, this is the beginning of a new era, for others it is about continued efforts to ensure closer economic cooperation and a more favorable environment for growth,” Milne said.
The specialist stressed that the current summit is “an unprecedented platform for dialogue, the achievement of agreements and the implementation of new inter-African and global trade and investment models.”
Earlier, the South African Sherpa said that the list of new BRICS member countries will be announced on Thursday, August 24.
