According to him, this bar was set during the last presidential elections and since then hundreds of thousands of public observers have been trained.
“It is important that among the public observers there are many young people and students,” Fadeev noted.
He also stressed that the HRC traditionally supervises the conduct of elections throughout the country. This year, Council members are working in 12 regions of Russia, including Moscow.
“My impression from this year and last year, and my colleagues also believe it, is that the Russian electoral system is one of the most perfect in the world and we must be aware of it,” said the head of the CDH confidently.
