Filming on the new part of the Alien franchise has come to an end. Collider writes about this with reference to the film’s director, Fede Alvarez, who is known for his The Evil Dead films. Black Book” and “Don’t Breathe”. The new movie will be called Alien: Romulus.
The main characters this time will be teenagers: they will have to face alien creatures. As Collider points out, Álvarez plans to continue the original story, it won’t be a reboot. Starring David Jonsson, Archie Renault, Spike Fern and Eileen W.
Álvarez’s colleague from Don’t Breathe, Rodolfo Sayagez, who also wrote the script for Wake Up Call, was in charge of the script. One of the producers was the director of the original “Alien” Ridley Scott. Other details of the upcoming horror are still being kept under wraps. The premiere is scheduled for August 16, 2024.
