Fendi celebrates a new collaboration with the Arnaldo Pomodoro Foundation with an exhibition. The exhibition was called “Arnaldo Pomodoro. The Great Theater of Civilizations. It will be presented until October 2023 at the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, the headquarters of the fashion house in Rome.
A rich and multifaceted program of events begins with a detailed analysis and promotion of the artist’s work. It is built around the central mission of the Arnaldo Pomodoro Foundation. The goal is to preserve the value and popularize the work of its founder, as well as create ways for young authors to communicate and provide them with platforms for creativity.
The exhibition is built as a great “theater”, both real and mental, memorial and imaginary. Reality and utopia, sign and archetype, matter and vision, the three-dimensionality of the work and the two-dimensionality of the document, coexistence in the public space and the personal research carried out in the workshop and in the archive are integrated into the exhibition space.
