As it became known, at around 13:00 local time on May 19 in the Berezovsky district, on the section between the Krasnoyarsk-Vostochny and Sorokino stations of the Krasnoyarsk Railway, five cars of a freight train derailed.
Restoration work is currently being carried out and the causes of the emergency are being determined.
“The Krasnoyarsk Transport Prosecutor’s Office has organized an inspection of the implementation of legislation on road safety in railway transport,” the department added.
