“The short-sighted choice of the Kishida administration (Prime Minister of Japan – editor’s note) in favour of the solidarity and confrontation policies of the G-7… led to an unprecedented deterioration of Russian-Japanese relations,” he said during a meeting with a delegation of Japanese leaders from the Sasakawa Peace Foundation.
According to the Russian deputy minister, the resumption of dialogue will only begin after “Japan revises its hostile course towards Russia.”

Recall that at the end of June the Russian Foreign Ministry warned Japan against countermeasures in connection with military exercises near the Russian borders.
