He also noted the serious shortage of ammunition in the Ukrainian army. At the same time, according to him, most of the tanks supplied by the Western Allies have already been destroyed on the front line, and there are not enough people in the units.
“They don’t have enough soldiers and the men don’t want to go to the front anymore,” the analyst said.
Speaking about the quality of the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ritter noted that now most of the Ukrainian armed forces do not have the necessary military training, but they are no longer sufficient to provide defense along the entire front line.
Earlier, Ritter predicted the defeat of Ukraine in the early fall. “I have said many times that, from a military point of view, a strategic victory over Ukraine will be achieved in late summer or early fall,” he said.
