We managed to find many different fragments of pottery, household utensils and weapons.

A large-scale expedition covering about 26 hectares was conducted from late May to mid-June under the guidance of specialists from the Chuvash State Institute of Humanities and the Khalikov Institute of Archaeology with the participation of students and schoolchildren.

Researchers excavated two sections of the fortress wall from the 10th-13th centuries. In one of them, on the western side, remains of hollow cages were discovered, which were once located near the entrance to the city and, apparently, served as stables where visitors could leave their four-legged vehicles. Archaeologists noted that it was in this part of the city that the fire apparently broke out, after which buildings were restored on the site of the burned buildings.

The fortifications of the wall, cleared from the south side, provided the expedition with many finds. Moreover, as the official community of the Chuvash Institute of Humanities in VK notes, the discovered artefacts belong to different periods, which indicates several centuries of the existence of the Bulgarian city.

The remains of five residential wooden houses are preserved here, among which more than eight thousand different fragments of pottery, household utensils and weapons were found.
