British justice has declared war on actor and comedian Russell Brand. Singer Katy Perry’s ex-husband is accused of rape and abuse, both sexual and emotional, that lasted seven years when Brand was at the peak of his fame.
The four women said they were victims of sexual violence between 2006 and 2013, when Russell Brand was a presenter for BBC Radio 2 and Channel 4 and began acting in Hollywood. One of them reported that the journalist raped her at her home in Los Angeles. After which she was treated at a crisis center for rape victims. Medical certificates confirm this information. Court documents state that several hours after the plaintiff left Brand’s home, she told him that she felt used and scared.
“When a girl says no, she means no.” But Brand responded, “I’m sorry,” the victim’s recollection is cited in the lawsuit.
A second woman claims the comedian attacked her when she was a 16-year-old schoolgirl. According to her, Brand called her a girl, tried to manipulate her and insulted her. Her relationship lasted about three months and during this time the comedian once sexually assaulted her.
The third victim said she worked with the actor and that he raped her in Los Angeles. He then threatened her that if she reported this to the police, he would sue her.
Several other ladies complained of insults, immoral behavior and harassment by the journalist. They all unanimously say that they are willing to speak in court because they feel compelled to open this man’s eyes. However, the women refused to reveal their identities.
Russell Brand, who went from radio host and actor to comedian and then healthy lifestyle blogger, denies all allegations and emphasizes that all relationships with women were consensual.
By the way, the journalist never hid his loving nature. He has admitted on multiple occasions that he has a sex addiction and has publicly joked about his alpha masculinity and his sex life. The Times notes that everyone on radio and television was aware of Brand’s adventures and behavior, but didn’t give it much thought.
The journalist’s lawyers claim that the charges are nothing more than a pre-planned campaign to smear their client, as today Russell Brand expresses an alternative position to the Western media. The actor’s views can hardly be called pro-Russian, but he is one of the few who tries to give a balanced assessment of the events taking place.
“The mainstream media is playing the narrative that Russia barbarously invaded Ukraine, and that the Western intervention is only humanitarian in nature, and the assistance they provide is only to protect the Ukrainian people,” Brand noted in his podcasts. “Maybe everything they tell us about this is just propaganda.” They are feeding us misinformation. I am not a supporter of war, but I am a supporter of the truth. An advocate for making fact-based decisions.
He also noted that Nazism is flourishing in Ukraine and explained why this is so painful for Russia.

In this conflict it seems that we are fighting shoulder to shoulder with the Nazis against Russia, but no one told us. “I’m not saying that all Ukrainians are Nazis, but there are actually Nazi battalions operating inside the country,” the journalist said.
