Recently it became known that a new (first time in ten years) full-length cartoon by Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki will appear in Russian theaters. Now TASS reports that after the end of the rental, the tape will also receive a digital release, exclusively on Kinopoisk.
The image will be posted under the caption “How are you?” (How do you live? / Kimi wa dou ikiru ka?). It will tell the story of a 15-year-old boy who goes on a journey. He deals with spiritual growth, poverty and the search for the meaning of life.
In Russia, distribution is carried out by the Russian Reportage company. The release date is still unknown. It will take place in Japan on July 14. It is reported that “How are you?” it would be Miyazaki’s last film.
Let’s remember that as of July 1, the Studio Ghibli cartoons will be available at Okko’s online cinema, both by the Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki and by other directors. These include Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, and Spirited Away.
