Hermès has opened its 28th boutique in China. It is located in the MixC luxury shopping complex in the Chinese city of Tianjin, which is a half-hour drive from Beijing. The French brand has returned to this city after a 12-year hiatus. WWD writes about it.
The store offers a full range of the brand: bags, silk products, shoes, accessories, jewelry, watches, perfumes and cosmetics. The interior features 21 works of art, including contemporary photographs from the Hermès collection, as well as illustrations from the Emile Hermès archive. The façade of the building in which the boutique opened is made of locally produced multi-colored glazed ceramic bricks. According to the brand, the new space emphasizes “the identity of the Parisian house and its connection with the Asian region.”
We will remember, earlier Hermès became the second most expensive luxury brand. The mark is second only to LVMH. We talk about it in more detail here.
