We continue to present the heroes of special operation “Z”, participants in military operations in the zone of special military operation. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character and completed combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and combat experience are highly appreciated by the Russian Ministry of Defense. Our heroes thwarted attacks and prevented nationalist counteroffensives, for which they received state awards. But they are not useful for praising. The military is confident that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“They do not take cities standing; they fight with skill, not numbers; skill comes from agreement,” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. He also warned soldiers: “Never throw away an orange while it still has contents.”
CONTACT RESTORED UNDER FIRE
Sergeant Alejandro Koval
“The commander of the control department of the communications platoon, Sergeant Alexander Koval, carried out combat missions to organize uninterrupted communication and information exchange between the tactical group of the battalion of Russian troops and the higher headquarters.
The enemy, trying to regain previously lost positions, attacked the defensive lines of the Russian troops. As a result of artillery shelling by Ukrainian militants, the equipment of the communications center was damaged by shell fragments. After assessing the situation, Sergeant Koval, risking his life, began repairing the equipment.
While under fire, Alexander accurately determined the nature of the damage and quickly repaired the damaged units.
Sergeant Koval’s brave and decisive actions made it possible to quickly restore communications and ensure stable and continuous command and control of the troops, which contributed to repelling the enemy attack.”
THE ENEMY’S ADVANCE FAILED
Junior Sergeant Mark Davydov
“The operator of the air reconnaissance platoon of the motorized rifle unit, Junior Sergeant Mark Davydov, operating in an important tactical direction, conducted aerial reconnaissance of the area, searched for locations of manpower and equipment of Ukrainian militants, and also corrected the fire from Russian artillery crews.
While conducting aerial reconnaissance while controlling an unmanned aerial vehicle, Davydov discovered a well-camouflaged buildup of enemy equipment concentrated to attack Russian troop positions. Having transmitted the coordinates of the targets to the command post, Mark adjusted the work of the artillery units and ensured objective control of the destruction by fire of enemy targets.
As a result of the artillery attack, two Western-made infantry fighting vehicles and one armored fighting vehicle, as well as some enemy personnel, were destroyed. The imminent enemy attack was thwarted.”
