We continue to present the heroes of special operation “Z”, participants in the fighting in Donbass. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character and completed combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and combat experience are highly appreciated by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Our heroes thwarted attacks and prevented nationalist counteroffensives, for which they received state awards. But they are not useful for praising. The military is confident that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“Insolence is not an obstacle for the troops,” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. And he gave instructions to the soldiers: “Three will run in: they will stab the first, shoot the second, karachun the third with a bayonet.”
MAINTAINED PROGRESS FOR TWO WEEKS
Lieutenant Colonel Yuri Kovalev
“Receiving information that the enemy was preparing a breakthrough into a defense sector near one of the liberated settlements, Lieutenant Colonel Kovalev, together with the battalion entrusted to him, advanced to a certain line and began to equip positions to repel the advance of the enemy. Arriving at the indicated area, Yuri identified the most dangerous areas of the terrain for tanks and air, carried out technical re-equipment of his positions and competently placed machine gun and mortar teams on the ground. Thanks to a well-organized and effectively constructed defense, Lieutenant Colonel Yuri Kovalev’s battalion repelled all enemy offensive attempts in its sector for two weeks. The exhausted enemy, having suffered significant losses, abandoned attempts to break through in this direction and retreated to the deepest areas of the territories under its control.”
THREE PLANES AND ONE APU HELICOPTER KILLED
Captain Alexey Vedyashchev
“During a special military operation, Captain Alexey Vedyashchev, piloting a Su-35 fighter, repeatedly covered army aviation helicopters during landing. Carrying out tasks to gain air superiority, Alexey destroyed three enemy aircraft and one helicopter in air battles. Additionally, Captain Alexey Vedyashchev was responsible for the destruction of a ground radar station.”
