For its 15th anniversary, the “Happiness” bar-restaurant gathered guests at the St. Petersburg festival. In the invitation Acústica de la Felicidad promised to please everyone with creative workshops, boat rides, delicious food and a great concert. BURO journalist. Evgenia Kindinova visited the festival and shares her impressions, and the band UMA2RMAN, one of the headliners of the event, prepared a summer playlist especially for us.
The Yusupov Garden is a quiet historical oasis of nature right in the middle of the bustling center of St. Petersburg. However, on the last weekend of July, the green alleys of the park were remarkably illuminated. As part of the Acoustics of Happiness festival, there was a flea market, a basketball court and a stage where popular artists performed: IOWA, UMA2RMAN, Moral Code, Frukty, Anton Belyaev, Artemiev, Machete.

The first thing that opened to the eyes of the festival guests was a large mirror pond with boats. Due to the decent amount of people wanting to ride, many spread their blankets on the grass and patiently waited their turn.

On the neighboring island at that time there was a master class in yoga – meditation, relaxation and stretching practices. You can choose for yourself one of the different classes according to the level of training.

Festival visitors were also invited to reveal the creative side of their nature during master classes. We did not have time to attend trainings for adults, but we got to master classes, which were still being held at that time in the children’s city. The young visitors there made kaleidoscopes, sand crafts and much more, and also made cookies. The organizers of the children’s entertainment welcomed us into their company and we managed to make a couple of brilliant badges together with the children.

At the festival, there was a terrace of the “Happiness” bar-restaurant and food courts with street food, and we went there after the master classes. And while they were standing in line, the sounds of guitars and drums began to be heard from the stage, a signal for the start of the concert. Gulping down fries and a hamburger, they rushed across the grass to the call of the speakers.
UMA2RMAN, Moral Code, IOWA played at arm’s length in front of us. To be honest, we were so excited about what was happening that we forgot to take a couple of photos to remember.
